Did you see that Ithaca Family Fun is on Facebook? I use this platform to send out a weekly reminder of the fun things happening each weekend. I usually do this status update on Thursday, just in time for weekend planning. I occasionally use the Facebook page to send out announcements about special events and/or alerts (school closings, etc). No spam, no tracking, just quality info sent to your feed!
